" Purbeck Rival" is a classic 1972 Rival 32 cruising yacht.

The yacht has been laid up ashore over the last 6 to 7 years. The previous owners ill health resulted in it being put on the back burner, and I was asked if I would take it on because I was interested in boats!!
We have given it a lot of TLC to bring it to a presentable condition where a buyer can now see exactly what is available and what futher work they would choose to do.
Up to 5 people can sleep on board, but it is also an ideal cruising boat for two with wide safe decks, and has good stability should you be unlucky to be caught in a blow. A new Beta 28 BHP engine was installed in 1999 and this has only had 1391 hours of use, it has recently been fitted with an upgraded exhaust system and also had a service.
The keel is completely encapsulated in the Grp hull moulding and the shallow draft will allow the yacht to go through the French canals.

Length 9.7 metres, Beam 2.98 metres. Draught 1.42 metres and displacement 5.3 tonnes.
