Advanced- this course will qualify you to operate Imogen to and from a pontoon as well as anchor in Weymouth bay, to support racing events. Once " on the list" you will be able to drive Imogen during the Autumn and Winter series events when she is moored at the sailing academy.

Also, you will be placed in the pool of other Advanced Imogen drivers and will be able to support occasional Academy sailing events when Imogen is on loan to them. Imogen is notoriously fickle to drive in a Marina environment, particularly in strong winds, when her shallow forefoot and high topsides provide challenging driving conditions ( she doesn't handle like a yacht! ).

So this course is aimed at current "Basic" Imogen drivers who are ready to step up to the next level, or members who already have relevant experience driving motor vessels. Once booked on the course, you will receive instructions in the week prior from Tim Eastaugh/
