    A Fantastic Fundraising Quiz Night at CCSC

    Last Friday, CCSC hosted a wonderful quiz night in memory of Bill Barker, raising over £700 for charity! The funds will be split equally between Blood Cancer UK and the CCSC Cadets. The evening brought together members from Cadets to Cruisers, celebrating Bill's incredible legacy. It was a fantastic opportunity to enjoy great company, fun challenges, and a lively atmosphere.     Dorset Triangle Dates Announced

    For many years our Club has participated in the Dorset Triangle which is an inter-club sailing competition.     Lynn Sails to Victory!

    Thanks to the unwavering support of the brilliant teams at CCSC, including Ladies Sailing, Sail 4 All, and Chesil Sailability, Lynne Swan took on the exciting challenge of competing within the Sailability racing circuit.     Caution: Sailors at Work!

    Our Winter Working Parties have got off to a great start this year. New hand rails on external staircases being installed, front doors being given a fresh coat, pontoons undergoing thorough cleaning, safety boats being serviced and prepared the list goes on. Working Parties have also proved to be a great opportunity for members to make new friends and identify sailing opportunities for later in the year. All members are welcome and encouraged to participate.

    Sam's Firecracker Weekend

    The final event of the UK southern circuit took place last weekend at Itchenor Sailing Club (ISC) as part of their annual Firecracker weekend Saturday dawned with an early 10.30am start to get the tide right and an east north easterly wind with the course set just to the east of East Head.     CCSC Donate to RLNI After Fundraising BBQ

    A group of our members enjoyed a visit to Weymouth Lifeboat in the sunshine in early October.     Top Result for Merryn at Welsh WASZP Nationals!

    We love hearing from members who have taken part in events outside of CCSC.     CCSC Solent Cruise 2024

    Silver Girl started out on the Thursday night to take a good tide to Swanage for an overnight stay on the SC swinging mooring. £15.00. Jenorah and Seraphim started out Friday morning as the sun came up against a foul tide to head for Lymington.     Mupe Cruise

    A lovely little cruise was taken by the CCSC cruisers. Monica Wolff had always wanted to do this regular pilgrimage down to Mupe, but the stars had rarely aligned appropriately. Luck was with them this year and Steve and Monica cadged a lift with Seraphim and BONI respectively. The intrepid crew of Peccadillo made the cruise 3 boats in total for the night.
