    Jon Emmett Wins ILCA 6 at 2025 EurILCA Master in Belgium

    Castle Cove Sailing Club congratulates Jon Emmett on his outstanding victory in the ILCA 6 Class at the 2025 EurILCA Master BEL, held in Ostend, Belgium. The event, hosted by the Royal North Sea Yacht Club and Ostend Sailing Club, saw three days of intense competition in challenging North Sea conditions.     Simon's K1 Success

    Simon Hawkes, a seasoned sailor from Castle Cove Sailing Club, claimed victory at the 2024 K1 Inland National Championships held at Carsington Sailing Club on 1718 May. Despite light and variable winds, the 24-strong fleet completed multiple races, with Hawkes showcasing exceptional skill and consistency throughout the weekend.     Warning - Substantial change of course will be required!

    Old Castle Road (from Belle Vue Road down to the railway bridge at Sudan Rd) will be closed for the full ten days from 6th to 16th May 2025, as there are extensive works to be done on the pavement and in the road. Access to CCSC during this time will have to be via Khartoum Rd or Clearmout Rd coming under the railway bridge!

    A Fantastic Fundraising Quiz Night at CCSC

    Last Friday, CCSC hosted a wonderful quiz night in memory of Bill Barker, raising over £700 for charity! The funds will be split equally between Blood Cancer UK and the CCSC Cadets.
