    Congratulations Sam Pascoe - World Champion!

    After five days of racing at this year's ACO 13th Musto Skiff World Championship at Weymouth and Portland, Castle Cove sailor Sam Pascoe kept his cool under pressure as the event favourite to win the 2024 Worlds Title.     Scorpion National Championships 2024

    Castle Cove Sailing Club is delighted to be hosting the Scorpion National Championships from 27th July to 2nd August. We are looking forward to welcoming over 70 boats and their crews from all over the UK. (FYI there appears to be no specific collective noun for a group of Scorpions!?) Our members will be acting as hosts providing much needed refreshment off the water as well as managing the racing in the harbour and

    Boats, Bands and Bromptons.... Cherbourgers 2024

    We sailed all the way to Cherbourg apart from engine assistance for the last part. In France we enjoyed a mass bike ride - all 4 Bromptons plus several hired electric bikes. Later that evening there was the Cherbourg Solstice music festival throughout the town. On return there was little or no wind back to Weymouth although we were helped by the genoa in the last quarter. See the full report HERE

    YCW Keelboat Regatta 2024 - 13/14 July

    Back in 2022 we had two days of fabulous sailing in the bay with members of Weymouth Sailing Club. The feedback was awesome.     Sail4All 2024

    Sail4All (S4A) is back this weekend on Saturday afternoon between 1400-1700. In accordance with the club programme, S4A is available on selected Saturday afternoons throughout the summer season. The main purpose of S4A is to enable all club members to enjoy what our club has to offer, both on and off the water, on a non-race day.     Castle Cove Cadet competes at Bermuda's SailGP event

    This week we are most certainly being inspired by our young CCSC cadets! Nicola Richards who regularly takes part in CCSC racing in her Topper has been in Bermuda for the last week completing in the Sail GP Waszp Inspire program with 18 other sailors, 9 girls and 9 boys which as you can imagine she has thoroughly enjoyed!
