It was hot...both Monday's BBQ and Sailing

There could not have been many better places to be than at Castle Cove Sailing Club for the hottest evening ever in the UK. Rob our caterer from Brown Goose Catering provided a superb BBQ with vegetarian options and with the bar open there was no danger of anyone going thirsty. The breeze ensured a very comfortable evening on the deck with great company and views.

The same breeze, an easterly, was slightly more than forecast presenting sailing challenges for some and opportunities for others. It also presented the keel boat fleet with the chance for a trip out into the bay to meet our friends at Weymouth Sailing Club, whose course had some similarities to our own!
