2022 Prize Giving and Dinner Dance

This year's Annual Prize Giving and Annual Dinner Dance had a slight twist - we chose to 'stay in for the night'. Rather than hitting the town club members made the most of our own fantastic facilities by celebrating and awarding prizes at the club house. Members enjoyed a hot buffet prepared by Rob and his team from Brown Goose Catering, followed by excellent music provided by The Dirty Ponchos.
Many thanks must go to Grace Martin and Debbie McDine for organizing and decorating the club house so imaginatively. David Brock for acting as master of ceremonies and Andy Adler for his virtual Commodore's Speech (and 'Movember' moustache!)
Thanks and appreciation must also go to Rob and Sandra Smith, who not only ensure all the trophies go the right recipients, but gather them all back each year and clean them ready for presenting. This year the traditional plaques were also awarded to prize winners. These much prized 'prizes' mean that club members get a personal souvenir to keep once their trophies have been returned at the end of each year. Every plaque is unique, handmade, and painted by Sandra - each one a masterpiece.
Sadly not every prize-winner could be present and it is hoped that those prizes can be presented at the Commodore's Punch Party on Sunday 18th December.
