Would you like to try sailing? Don't have any experience, or maybe you sailed a long time ago
Contrary to popular belief you don't need to own a boat to go afloat. Many boats need a crew of
three or four people to be sailed and right now Castle Cove sailing club's growing fleet of racing
keelboats needs you
This is an ideal opportunity to learn how to sail within the surrounds of an experienced crew so you
don't need any previous sailing knowledge and you can discover the joys of sailing and racing as you
go.
Have you sailed before in the dim and distant past? Excellent come and rediscover your skills in
some of the best sailing waters in the country.
You don't need to know anything about sailing, just come and get involved and you will learn the
skills of sail trimming, spinnaker flying and boat handling in the company of seasoned sailors.
Experience the wide-open spaces of Portland Harbor and Weymouth Bay, see the land from a
different perspective and you might be lucky enough to meet the dolphins.
