Queue Drum Roll It is with great pleasure we can now reveal the names of our new RIBs!

The names for our two new RIBs were decided at the Sailing Committee last Thursday evening after extensive polling and consideration. The Committee would like to thank all who took part, with special mention to Cadets for having such a democratic vote! So without further ado

Ta-da

Ribcraft 585 is now named Merlin (with the grey tubes)

And

XS 5m is now named Nemo (with the red tubes)

Earlier this year the GC backed a plan to replace Tern Too and Loafer with two new-to-us ribs. Thanks to Bill Barker's efforts we now have the two RIBs Nemo and Merlin.

The Ribcraft 585 - Merlin will replace Tern Too and will see use as a mark layer and safety boat. The XS 5m - Nemo will replace Loafer and will work alongside Camelot as one of our 'go-to' safety boats.

Both of the new Ribs are for use by all PB2 qualified members who have been shown how to look after them.
