Castle Cove SC has just shown its depth of dinghy talent again at one of the country's bigger winter events - The Draycote Dash. Our current most successful dinghy racer, multiple champion, and joint principal organizer of CCSC Cadets - Sam Pascoe has added another notable event win to his collection. He battling his Musto Skiff round Saturdays 4 fleet races and Sundays pursuit to take a one point victory in some proper challenging inland conditions.

Not far down the list was Ed Presley - impressively steering his Contender to 4th overall with his quote to the UK Contender gang after finishing on Sunday .'man it was gusty, 2 hr pursuit - even I got tired!' (that from a fit man). And to complete our top ten trio was the other Musto Skiff Sam - ie Sam Barker coming in a really good 9th out of a talented 109 boat fleet.

Only 6 places further down was Simon Hawkes also in the CCSC gang sailing his K1 to 16th.

I don't know if there was a team prize, but we would have won it by some way.

Well done to all, and they may well be spotted hopefully well up the results again in some of the other forthcoming Sailjuice Winter Series events - like The Bloody Mary and others.
