Seagrass Workshop held at CCSC

On Monday 6th November CCSC members and members of the public received a very informative presentation and workshop on seagrass from the Marine Conservation Society. The workshop was led by our Vice Commodore Ian Green with the support of Dr Jean-Luc Solandt, Emily Bunce, Amdeep Saghera and Dr Peter Richardson from the MCS.
The MCS are working to protect and recover seagrass meadows in UK seas, which is a vital habitat for animals and a key tool in the fight to combat climate change. Portland Harbour is privileged to contain some very import and seagrass meadows which require protection and conservation.
