Regional Junior Championships

A great weekend was had by the Cadet section this weekend. 13 of them headed to WPNSA for the Regional Junior Championships.

It was WINDY for them all, topping out at 31 Kn on Saturday and only 24 Kn on Sunday. Everyone survived and those racing in the Cove cup saw them all sailing back to the club whilst they were hanging on to there own boats.

Results included 1st and 2nd Feva; 1st Regatta fleet Topper and Tera, First Optimist, 2nd and 3rd ILCA, As well as some great results for everyone found here

Some really good performances for all and happy smiley faces at the end.

Well done to everyone who has been making Saturday morning's down at the club fantastic fun. It was great to see another 10-12 juniors sailing at cadets this Saturday. If you want your children to join in just turn up at 10.30 on a Saturday say hello and be ready to sail by 11 am. Or contact Jeni Richards beforehand if you want any advice.
